ABOUT

BERNICE GONzÁLEZ BOFILL

Bernice González Bofill grew up surrounded by the magic of capturing moments through lenses in Puerto Rico. Her grandmother, a pioneer behind the camera, had a gift for taking unconventional photos that, though imperfect, told the story of her family with a unique beauty. Following in her footsteps, her father immortalized the family's adventures with his Super 8 camera, creating memories that were relived weekly during family screenings.

Today, although digital archives have replaced magnetic tapes, the essence of those memories remains alive in her work. As a Puerto Rican filmmaker based in New York, Bernice channels her passion for storytelling into every project she undertakes. With a diverse portfolio that includes commercial projects for global brands such as Nike, Missoni, Adidas, Hugo Boss, L’Oréal, and Jimmy Choo, Bernice brings a unique perspective to each endeavor. In addition to her commercial work, she is an award-winning screenwriter, having written, directed, edited, and produced several short films that have been showcased in New York and Puerto Rico.

In a world inundated with fleeting moments, Bernice remains committed to capturing the essence of the human experience, frame by frame, bringing dedication and passion to every project she takes on.
