BERNICE GONZÁLEZ BOFILL
Bernice González Bofill is an award-winning Puerto Rican filmmaker based in New York, known for storytelling that explores identity, resilience, and cultural heritage. Her work has screened at festivals in Puerto Rico and New York.
Her short film TV LUV received First Prize for Best Screenplay and multiple acting awards at the Cinefiesta International Short Film Festival in Puerto Rico.
Festival of Puerto Rico. More recently, Sunrise, Afterparty, Kiss won Best Editing (Romantic Comedy) at the NYWIFT Online Shorts Festival.
Bernice’s feature script, Victoria, is being developed through the Ruta Crítica incubator, and her script, No War Without Humans, was a second-rounder at the Austin Film Festival.
With a strong background in editing and post-production, Bernice brings a meticulous, emotionally resonant approach to every project. Her work, deeply rooted in her Puerto Rican identity, reflects the transformative power of storytelling to inspire and connect across cultures.
